Overview

A portfolio backend designed to organize habits and record daily completions through a modular structure of routes, controllers, models and authentication middleware.

The challenge

Keep habits and history isolated per user, protect every sensitive operation and provide a straightforward flow for recording daily progress.

The solution

The API uses Express, JWT authentication, bcrypt password hashing and Mongoose models for users and habits. Middleware validates the token before allowing CRUD and completion logging operations.
